The First-Time Donor’s Super Credit (“FDSC”), which provided an extra 25% credit to donors who had not claimed a charitable donation tax credit since 2007, expired at the end of 2017.
Taxpayers can continue to take advantage of charitable donation tax credits at their standard federal and provincial rates in 2018 and future years.
