In his assurance role at Walsh King, Patrick Harrison leads reviews and audits, acting as a liaison between clients and the firm’s partners. Patrick, who works with family-owned businesses in transportation, retail, investing and manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, likes to help them grow by providing meaningful advice. He also enjoys preparing corporate and personal tax returns.

Raised in Vancouver, Patrick earned a BComm in accounting from the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business. Before joining Walsh King as a staff accountant in 2016, he graduated from the pre-service firefighter program at Seneca College.

“This is a relationship business, and working your way up to senior accountant, you feel a lot of responsibility,” Patrick says of Walsh King. “I try to be a trusted adviser by being an excellent communicator, both to my colleagues at the firm and to the clients.”

In his spare time, Patrick is a fitness enthusiast whose favourite activities include running, cycling, hiking, skiing and working out.
